Rtn. Dr. SPS. Grover-PDG and club advisor briefed the attending members about the importance of this vital test which reveals early changes in liver  leading to fatty liver and ultimately cirrhosis of liver . The early detection,  if treated properly can reverse the fatty changes and prevent  the important cause of fatty liver and cirrhosis. Apart from alcohol  which  is the common cause other causes  are diabetes mellitus , Obesity, consumption  of junk food and lack of exercise. People can prevent their liver going wrong  by controlling sugar, taking proper diet, avoidance of excess of alcohol and doing  regular exercise and maintain proper ideal weight and B.M.I

All the members of Rotary Club Jalandhar west in association with inner wheel Club Jalandhar West and inner wheel club of Jalandhar  Elite went ahead  to undertake a free liver check up camp(Fibro scan ) at the New Ruby Hospital on 02nd Aug 2024.

The Rotary Club Jalandhar West for undertaking this camp through the un-relented     support of Rtn Dr. SP Singh Grover-MD in making this camp a great success.
