The brief description of the development works carried out by the members of Rotary Club Jalandhar West as designated through the Distt Grant of R.I.D 5160.<\/strong>
\nWorks carried out at the premises of Two Primary Govt Schools.<\/strong>
\nIt was mutually agreed with the sponsorship Club to carry out work at the premises of two Govt. Primary School. At Abadpura & Gandhi Camp. It included the construction of New Washrooms, Repairs to existing wash rooms, Repair to un-even floors in the courtyard, Repair to existing water pumping station to augment water supply including pipe fitting etc, repair of walls, windows replacement\/ repairs to existing windows including painting and provide desks for the children.<\/strong>
\nWorks carried out at Abadpura school<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Complete new washroom with Plumbing including electric fitting -3- one for boys, girls & special children.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Plaster + Floor in front of their washrooms about 10 x 30ft.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Demolition of existing water tank & corner room. Repair to flooring of pump area- 20\u2019 x 20\u2019.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Pump station floor 20\u2019 x 10\u2019 including passage floor 20\u2019 x 6\u2019including electric fittings.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Repair to one class room 25\u2019 x 13\u2019 complete including electric fittings.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Mid-day-meal room, re fitting of steal sink, electric fitting, water supply fitting & new water tank 500 liters with store partitions & other necessary repairs + white \/ colour wash including roof top floor & parapets etc. Including vitrified tiles inside store room.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Plumbing works in the mid-day meal room<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 One septic tank for taking the load of above room\/kitchen.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Plumbing work of water cooler including fitting + external flooring (12 x 6ft) outside mid-day meal room about (20 x 30 feet).<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Area cleaning & flooring for mid-day meal room of size 40\u2019 x 10\u2019at the school premises.<\/strong>
\nGandhi Camp<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 3 bathroom new& renovation of existing washrooms.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Rain water pipes- for area drainage of accumulation of water at the roof top..<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Flooring- with inter lock tiles in the courtyard.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Sewerage pipe new & the area drainage of courtyard.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Seeptic pit- 5 x 5 for handicap children\/ washroom.<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Repair to existing kitchen, marble floor to this area<\/strong>
\n\uf0d8 Replacement of existing water supply including pipes & fitting complete near about (25mm)- 600, Sewerage pipe- (150 mm)- 300.<\/strong>Repairs of walls\/ flooring of one room, the service, kitchen room for mid-day meals at the schools, including new roof- Painting was done in addition of the work previously settled with the schools, \u00a0because of the demand by the schools on urgent basis.<\/strong>All these above works were achieved though the kind cooperation of Mr. S. Kohli- Head Teacher-Govt. Sen. Sec. School for girls Abadpura.<\/strong>
\nWe are also thankful to Ms. Resham Kaur- State Awardee who was instrumental in the coordination between Rotary & affected Govt. Schools for the projection of works and their execution.<\/strong>
\nRtn. Dr. S.P.S Grover- PDG (Club Advisor) was the main force behind the liason with this district grants and ably supported by Rtn. P.S Bindra President, Rtn. Er. Kuldip Singh- P.P, Er.Joginder Singh, Rtn. P.P Darshan Singh, Jagdish Kataria, Raman Bhalla for able planning & execution of Works, as carried out by Rotary Club Jalandhar West.
