{"id":3257,"date":"2024-03-28T09:49:21","date_gmt":"2024-03-28T09:49:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/primepunjab.com\/home\/?p=3257"},"modified":"2024-03-28T09:49:44","modified_gmt":"2024-03-28T09:49:44","slug":"sushil-rinku-epitomises-aaya-ram-gaya-ram-phenomenon-mla-vikramjit-singh-chaudh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/primepunjab.com\/home\/2024\/03\/28\/sushil-rinku-epitomises-aaya-ram-gaya-ram-phenomenon-mla-vikramjit-singh-chaudh\/","title":{"rendered":"Sushil Rinku epitomises Aaya Ram Gaya Ram phenomenon: MLA Vikramjit Singh Chaudh"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>JALANDHAR-Manvir Sibgh Walia<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Reacting to Jalandhar Member of Parliament Sushil Rinku joining the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the General Elections to Lok Sabha, Phillaur MLA Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary said Rinku was an epitome of the old \u2018Aaya Ram Gaya Ram\u2019 phenomenon as he switched from the Congress to the Aam Aadmi Party to the BJP in less than a year.<\/h2>\n<h2>He pointed out that Sushil Rinku had contested the 2022 Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections on the Congress ticket and then shifted to the AAP last April before the 2023 Jalandhar by-election. \u201cNow he has joined the BJP and will probably contest the Lok Sabha election on its symbol. By the next election, who is to say that he won\u2019t quit BJP and join another party?,\u201d questioned Chaudhary.<\/h2>\n<h2>Criticising Chief Minister BhagSingh Waliaant Mann for misgovernance and lack of development in the state, the Phillaur MLA said that the departure of Rinku and Sheetal Angural from the AAP had exposed Mann\u2019s hollow claims of development as Rinku himself himself cited the inability to fulfil promises made to the people of Jalandhar due to lack of support from the Mann government.<\/h2>\n<h2>MLA Chaudhary further criticised CM Mann, pointing out the embarrassment of having their sole sitting Lok Sabha MP from Punjab, also a candidate for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, expressing no confidence in his government and leaving the party.
