In-Campus Six-Week Industrial Training on “IoT using Arduino, NodeMCU, and Raspberry Pi” Successfully Completed by ECE Students in Mehr Chand Polytechnic College, Jalandhar

Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. Jagroop Singh & able guidance of Sh. Prince Madaan, HOD, ECE of Mehr Chand Polytechnic College, Jalandhar organized In-Campus 6 Week Industrial Training on “IoT using Arduino, NodeMCU and Raspberry Pi” in which a group of talented and dedicated students participated. The training provided by Er. Japjeet Singh, IoT Expert was held from 20th June to 1st August, provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology and hands-on experience in working with popular hardware platforms including Arduino, NodeMCU, and Raspberry Pi.
The training program, organized by the department of ECE aimed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge to create innovative IoT projects that leverage the power of interconnected devices. Throughout the six-week duration, students delved into various aspects of IoT, learning about sensor integration, data communication, cloud connectivity, and real-time data analysis. Participants gained hands-on experience in building IoT prototypes from scratch, programming microcontrollers, and establishing communication between devices. As a culmination of their training, students developed and presented their own IoT projects in various domains such as home automation, environmental monitoring, healthcare, and more. During this training, the students also visited to Robotics Lab of NIT, Jalandhar and Robotic Plant of SML Isuzu Limited, Ropar to explore the industrial automation process.
At the end, the participants were honored with certificates by Principal Dr. Jagroop Singh. At that time with Principal Dr. Jagroop Singh, Sh. Prince Madaan, HOD, ECE, Er. Manish Sachdeva, Lecturer, ECE and Er. Japjeet Singh, IOT Expert were present.
