General body meeting of Rotary Club Jalandhar West

Manvir SingMembers of Rotary Club Jalandhar west organized a epical meeting on 04/12/2023 at a local hotel to honor one of our elite members Dr. Sukhdev Singh Director of AGI Limited. He acquired his doctorate degree from a university by virtue of his dedication, sincerity & hard working kind of personal disposition, which is manifested from the fact that he had a very humble beginning from a small hamlet of Phagwara &reached to the pinnacle of his humble beginning as builder. He further laid stress upon his on antra of success as Rtn. Dr. S.P.S Grover, who in his formal address, introduced Dr. Sukhdev Singh to the members stating that Mr. Sukhdev Singh was born & brought up at village Gidderpindi, Distt Jalandhar where he had his schooling besides being born in a family of farmers. His academic career also shaped up in the same village in Govt School, where he did his high school & was good at studies, which bagged him National scholarship. He did his graduation in commerce from Khalsa College Sultanpur Lodhi & Master of Commerce from GNDU Amritsar. Later he served in ICWAL, a financial institution, for 18 years, where he realized that his hidden talent is being wasted. There after he resigned & proceeded & start him new venture in Real Estate, construction business with shear dedication & committed to this business, when he further expanded the same to form a private company by the name of GI builders (Pvt. Ltd), which was termed as the 1st high rise residential project in the year 2007 at Phagwara. Though this town was small but the public response was extremely high, which brought his construction activities to lime light. The success of this project projected him to be an entrepreneur to further enhance his construction activities which included shopping malls, Hotels, School & Industrial building.

In the year 2011, he undertook a flagship project of Jalandhar Heights under which he has been able to deliver 5000 homes when 4200 more homes are under construction. Presently his construction activities have further expanded & other commercial towns as Ludhiana, Mohali & New Chandigarh. This year his company got listed to Bombay stock exchange by the name of AGI infra limited & stock remained one of the best performing stock at BSE.

This year this company got its place in FORBES list, best under a billion dollar 200 companies in the Asia pacific region out of 20,000 companies. Maryland state university USA has awarded him. Honorary degree of doctorate in the real estate representing 3000 people.

Mr. Suhdev Singh also promised to help in the projects of Rotary Bhawan in one of his projects.

Dr. H.S Pal & Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur were the project Chairpersons of new year & Lohri celebration & they conducted the shows in every novel way.
